Sentimental Stitching: Keepsake Quilt
Turn much-loved clothing and textiles into something you can use, display, and treasure for years to come in this hands-on keepsake quilt workshop in Sydney. Transform personal fabrics—such as baby clothes, family garments, or special textiles—into a thoughtfully designed quilt that tells your story.
Designed with beginners in mind, this workshop focuses on simple, accessible techniques and a supportive, step-by-step approach. You’ll learn how to select suitable fabrics, plan a patchwork layout, and construct a small quilt while building confidence at each stage.
You’ll create a small cot-sized or lap quilt (approximately 60 × 80 cm). By the end of the day, you will have completed your quilt top, prepared the quilt layers, and practised simple quilting or finishing techniques, with guidance on how to complete or extend your quilt at home.
